Energy Manager

Pfizer, one of the largest biotech and pharmaceutical companies in the world, needed a dynamic alternative to traditional energy management solutions to meet its sustainability goals. They turned to Ever.Ag’s Energy Manager, enabling them to identify, monitor and target the largest energy consumers across their facilities.

The Challenge

Pfizer aimed to reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions through their Net Zero program by implementing energy reduction projects. They required seamless integration with their Process and HVAC systems for targeted analysis. Traditional metered energy monitoring was infeasible due to numerous sites, high costs, and long implementation times.

The Solution

To achieve their goals, Pfizer partnered with Ever.Ag to use the Energy Manager, a patented virtual metering software platform. Deployed at multiple Pfizer facilities, it required no new hardware and no downtime, leveraging existing data sources like the Process Control System, BMS, and Electrical Historian System. Energy Manager swiftly identified users, processes, and operations that could be easily adjusted to initiate Pfizer’s energy reduction efforts.
